Studio Practice - W/C 7th October 19

Prepping surfaces ready for new painting and trying out a multi layer process, painting each layer before the previous has dried completely. This will create a really smooth support. Also I am making some smaller sketches using oils on scrap card primed in the same way. I am using colours which are less familiar such as rose tones and reds. I produced two small oil sketches which are a response to my feelings today. I am not feeling optimistically creative, it will be interesting to repeat this exercise tomorrow and note my feelings to see if this will change. I will continue to respond to the same pallet as well as adding colour intuitively.
